Job Summary
Caradoc Surgery, part of Primary Care Careers, is seeking a skilled Blood Collection Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the nursing team, this individual will be responsible for performing venepuncture, obtaining patient consent, and maintaining accurate records.
Main Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients as requested by the clinical team.
- Obtain patient consent and ensure that samples are handled and stored according to practice protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with laboratory staff.
- Ensure that samples are sent to the laboratory in a timely manner and resolve any discrepancies.
