Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our team at Northern Marine. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to our Business Unit Heads and senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Review and analyze monthly management accounts for all companies within assigned Business Unit, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the trial balance.
- Prepare and present monthly consolidated Business Unit reports and analysis to the Business Unit Head and senior management.
- Develop and maintain cashflow projections and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders to identify cost efficiencies and business improvements.
- Work closely with the Business Unit Head to develop and maintain annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
- Review and submit quarterly accounts to parent company.
- Prepare and submit annual statutory reports.
- Manage and support direct reports, including annual appraisals.
- Participate in external audit process.
- Assist senior management with ad hoc requests, projects, reports, and research.
- Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CA/ACA).
- Previous experience in a busy corporate role, with oversight of multiple companies.
- Experience of running and performing budgeting or forecasting processes.
- Excellent analytical ability with a good attention to detail.
- Understanding of financial regulation and legislation.
- Management and leadership experience.
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize workload, and ability to work to strict reporting deadlines.
- Commercial and business awareness.
- High numeracy and technical skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
