Lead Veterinary Surgeon Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated veterinary surgeon to fill the role of Lead Vet at our Sheffield-based practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the veterinary team, ensuring high standards of patient care, and providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff members.

About the Job:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage the veterinary team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Clinical Quality: Work closely with the Clinical Director to maintain high standards of patient care and ensure our clinical services meet the highest quality standards.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior vets, helping them to develop their skills and confidence in a clinical setting.
  • Event Analysis and Audits: Participate in event analysis and clinical audits to help drive improvement and growth within the practice.

About the Practice:

Our RCVS-accredited Veterinary Hospital in Sheffield offers high-quality, accessible healthcare for pets, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.

We have a talented team of 8.5 FTE vets, supported by a dedicated nursing and client care team, working together to achieve outstanding results.
