Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Specialist

The NES Fircroft Ltd is seeking an experienced I&E Engineer to join their team in Hartlepool, UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximising plant availability by optimising and improving the reliability performance of the electrical and instrument engineering systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical specifications for instrument equipment and repairs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support to the plant team, identifying and troubleshooting issues related to electrical and instrument engineering systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques, driving continuous improvement of plant reliability performance.
- Collaborate with the safety team to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations, implementing necessary actions to mitigate risks.
Requirements
- A minimum HND in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
- Substantial experience working in a 24/7 industrial environment, including operations planning, project management, and development of improvements and modifications.
Salary Estimate
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and location.
