Experienced Teaching Support Staff

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and experienced teaching support staff to join our team at Ash Grove Primary School, part of the Inspire Partnership Multi Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, providing support to teachers and pupils in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist teachers with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for all pupils.
  2. Provide one-to-one support to children who require additional help, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  3. Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, contributing to informed decision-making and reporting.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive school culture, fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a teaching assistant role, preferably in a primary setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills, with ability to de-escalate conflicts and promote positive behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Highly organised and proactive, with ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently.

Salary:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
