We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified Part-Time SEND Teacher to work on an ADHOC basis in one of our SEND Schools based in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a strong background in teaching children with SEMH needs, who has a deep understanding of (SEND) special educational needs and is committed to making a positive impact.

Job Description
  • To plan, implement and deliver tailored educational lessons to support the curriculum area of each student appropriately.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and or form tutor.
  • To facilitate and encourage a positive learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
  • To share and support the school's responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for the personal and academic development of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, counsellors, support staff and social workers to provide holistic support.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.

This role is ideal for a qualified teacher who is looking to make a difference in the lives of students with SEND. As a SEND Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of professionals to provide support and guidance to students.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Teaching in a SEND setting.
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
