About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for Biology to join our team at EdEx in Richmond as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. This role offers a chance to gain teaching experience, develop skills in education and learning support, and contribute to the school's mission to provide high-quality education and learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with Biology KS3-KS5
  • Assisting students with SEN needs such as ASD, ADHD and Dyslexia
  • Providing individualized support and guidance to students
  • Working collaboratively with teachers to plan and deliver lessons

Requirements:

  • A 2:1 or 1st Class degree in Biology or subjects involving Biology
  • Strong GCSE and A-Level knowledge of curriculum
  • Enthusiastic about Biology and supporting students
  • Passion for working with SEN children
  • Confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (£105-£110 per day)

Location: Richmond

Duration: Full-time, long-term contract
