Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to contribute to the quality of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
About the Role
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
- Mix plaster according to specifications for various applications.
- Apply plaster using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired finishes.
- Repair existing plasterwork by patching and refinishing damaged areas.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and bricklayers, to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Familiarity with the use of power tools and hand tools specific to plastering tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics in finished work.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual tasks over extended periods.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Company Details
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.50-£18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
