About the Role:

As a Social Worker in the Wrexham Court Team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality court reports, providing expert evidence, and working collaboratively with legal professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children and families involved in court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present court reports and assessments for children and families.
  • Attend court hearings and provide expert testimony as needed.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals, guardians, and other stakeholders to advocate for children's best interests.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of family dynamics and child welfare concerns.
  • Develop and implement support plans to address identified needs and risks.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support to families involved in the court process.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection, family court work, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and court procedures.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
