Job Opportunity: Apprentice Welder Engineering

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Welder Engineering to join our team at SLR Recruitment. As an Apprentice Welder Engineering, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including heavy plate fabrication and ship repair.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the fabrication of heavy plates to tight tolerances
  • Perform tack welding to a high standard
  • Work on ship repair projects, including welding and fabrication
Requirements:
  • Shipbuilding/ship repair experience preferred
  • Ability to provide a working reference
  • Willingness to apply for Security Clearance
  • Completion of an online induction program
Benefits:
  • Competitive pay rates: £28.83 per hour (Monday-Saturday), £38.44 per hour (Sunday)
  • Time and a half on Saturdays, double time on Sundays
  • Ongoing work with immediate starts available
