Maintenance Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to machine breakdowns to minimize downtime and improve long-term machine reliability.
- Implement the Lead/Senior Maintenance Engineer's plan to work preventatively, in addition to reactively.
- Use appropriate root cause analysis tools and 5S methodologies.
- Actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, identifying ways to engineer out persistent problems.
- Carry out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks.
- Accurately record all maintenance tasks performed on an electronic reporting system.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Engineering professional, with a C&G Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Strong understanding of good engineering standards.
- Experience in Engineering, manufacturing, or production environments.
- Continuous improvement knowledge and a proactive approach.
Salary and Benefits:
£42,000 - £48,000 per annum, plus plenty of overtime opportunities. Monday to Friday, days only.
