About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Designer - Architecture to join our team at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. As a Junior Designer, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of architectural projects, working closely with project leadership and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of architectural projects, including design, documentation, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of project tasks.
  • Produce high-quality design deliverables, including diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings, and animations.
  • Effectively communicate with project teams, stakeholders, and clients through written, oral, and visual means.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of building materials, systems, specifications, codes, details, and construction techniques.
  • Manage time and workload to meet project deadlines and commitments.
Requirements
  • Recent completion of a professional degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, parametric and rendering software, and Adobe Suite.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.
