Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing input and expertise in the design of subsea riser systems at all phases, from early concept engineering to detailed design. You will collaborate with our world-class engineers to develop robust and cost-effective solutions, leveraging your technical expertise and analytical skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of riser design scopes, ensuring deliverables are of high quality and to schedule.
  • Act as a lead for rigid pipeline team scopes of work within a project, when required.
  • Support the technical development of engineers within the rigid pipeline team.
  • Management of work scopes undertaken by external consultants on behalf of the rigid pipeline team.
Requirements:
  • High-quality honours degree in engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Naval or Aeronautical).
  • Strong technical understanding and experience focused on the design of steel catenary risers.
  • Proficiency in relevant analysis tools, including Abaqus, Orcaflex, and Shear7.
  • Good understanding of relevant design codes and recommended practices.
  • Ability to manage change and drive innovation.
  • Full command of the English Language.
