Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Yunex Traffic. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting traffic signals, including servicing, upgrading, and troubleshooting signal heads, controllers, and ancillary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and inspect traffic signals, including servicing, upgrading, and troubleshooting signal heads, controllers, and ancillary equipment.
  • Complete electrical tests, periodic inspections, and upgrade activities.
  • Ensure work is completed to a high and safe standard, to specifications, and on time.
  • Liaise with contractors and customers on site.
  • Analyse and process fault and asset data to support contract and asset performance reporting.
  • Support emergency repairs and out-of-hours work to support contract requirements.
  • Complete mandatory product training and industry and highways sector scheme accreditation.
Requirements:
  • Electrical qualification or experience in installation, maintenance, and/or testing of equipment.
  • Ability to work safely and at height.
  • Good attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and towards team goals.
  • Full driving licence.
What We Offer:
  • Base salary and annual bonus.
  • 26 days holiday, increasing up to 29 days with length of service.
  • 37.5 hour working week, with shift rota and unsociable hours uplift in salary.

  • Excellent pension, matching contributions up to 10% of pensionable salary.
