Head of Technology and Digital Development

Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development and delivery of technology, digital, and data plans for a fantastic children's charity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a multi-year technology, digital, and data roadmap that aligns with the charity's three-year strategic plan.
  • Manage technology, digital, and data-related risks to ensure the organization's operations and services are safe and secure.
  • Analyze and manage the organization's data governance, information security, and cyber resilience.
  • Lead the development of a multi-year IT strategy that supports the charity's business plan and delivers agreed outcomes.
  • Effectively lead, manage, motivate, and develop a team of technology and digital professionals to achieve their full potential.
  • Develop and sustain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to plan and deliver technology and digital projects.
  • Champion digitization across the organization, matching requirements to new digital products and optimizing current products.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience of leading and managing a technology and/or digital department.
  • Background in developing and implementing effective technology, digital, and data strategies.
  • Experience of effective systems architecture and re-design, procuring technology products and services, and managing suppliers.
  • Confidence in a range of cloud-based service platform providers and managing in-house and outsourced managed services.
  • Expert knowledge of digital and data IT security and governance requirements, including cyber security.
  • Experience of successfully managing departmental budgets in excess of £750k p.a.
