About the Job:
CV-Library has partnered with a respected school in Leighton Buzzard to find an experienced teaching assistant to support their students with Special Educational Needs. This part-time role requires someone with a genuine passion for helping children succeed, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Job Description:
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored educational plans for students with SEN.
  • Provide emotional support to students with learning difficulties, including those with SEMH needs.
Key Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working with SEN students or a proven track record of supporting children with SEN.
  2. Strong understanding of SEN principles and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  3. Ability to de-escalate conflicts and maintain a safe learning environment.
  4. Flexibility to work part-time hours, with some flexibility required.
  5. Current DBS clearance or willingness to obtain it.
  6. Relevant training or certifications to support students with learning difficulties.
What We Offer:

This role comes with a competitive salary of £26,000 per annum, a generous pension contribution scheme, and access to dedicated consultant support. All candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS check before starting.
