Job Summary

As a highly skilled Bookkeeper for Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our clients' businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process sales invoices, receipts, and payments to suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile supplier invoices to delivery notes, and ensure all credit notes and product returns are accounted for.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns to HMRC, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collate and prepare company payroll, submitting connected returns to HMRC.
  • Perform weekly bank account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow statements and budgets, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Maintain a daily record of company activities on Xero Accounting Systems.

Requirements
  • Relevant previous bookkeeping experience, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
