Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Reception Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Hackney, London. As a Reception Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of young children, fostering their social and emotional development, and creating a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the Reception curriculum
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development
  • Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities
  • Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop effective teaching strategies
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and behaviour
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a strong partnership between home and school

Requirements:

  • QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and strong academic record
  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Reception) or equivalent
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of the Reception curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
