About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at IO Associates. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in the design and development of cutting-edge Formula 1 technology.

Job Description:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our Formula 1 projects. This includes creating detailed designs and specifications for various components and systems, as well as collaborating with other engineers to ensure seamless integration.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Designing and developing high-performance mechanical components and systems using Siemens NX and related simulation/analysis tools.
  • Collaborating with other engineers to ensure effective communication and delivery of project outcomes.
  • Conducting thorough analysis and testing to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.

Salary and Benefits:

£505 per day (Inside IR35)

Location:

Northamptonshire (Hybrid working model)

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD design using Siemens NX and related simulation/analysis tools.
  • Expertise in designing highly loaded mechanical components and systems.
  • Experience with Internal Combustion Engine Design.
  • Turbo Design experience is a bonus.
