Spanish Instructor

About the Role:

We are seeking a part-time Spanish instructor to join our team at Brightpoint Community College, located in Chesterfield, Virginia.

Job Summary:

This is an opportunity to teach students and enhance their learning experience. As a part-time instructor, you will be responsible for providing online or traditional delivery instruction on either the Chester or Midlothian campus of the college.

Teaching Responsibilities:

You will teach courses such as Beginning Spanish I & II, Intermediate Spanish I & II, and Spanish for Health Professionals I & II. Your primary focus will be on delivering engaging and effective instruction that meets the needs of our diverse student body.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a master's degree in the discipline or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in Spanish. Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level is also desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, prior teaching experience and the ability to use instructional technologies are highly valued.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging between $45,000 and $60,000 per year. You will also receive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
