Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary SEN Tutor to work with children in primary education who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). The successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in delivering Functional Skills programmes, tailored support for children with a range of SEN, and addressing individual learning needs and barriers to learning.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about inclusive education and dedicated to supporting students in reaching their full potential. As a Primary SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing 1:1 or small group teaching that focuses on Functional Skills such as literacy, numeracy, and communication, alongside addressing individual learning needs and barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons focused on the development of Functional Skills in line with the student's individual learning needs.
  • Develop personalised learning plans for each student, setting specific academic, social, and functional learning targets.
  • Provide targeted interventions for students with a range of SEN, ensuring they make progress in their academic and life skills development.
