Nursery Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Nursery Chef to join our team at Toad Hall Nursery Group. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving healthy, nutritious meals to our children.
About the Role
- Prepare and cook meals for our children, adhering to our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Order food supplies within an agreed budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a clean and well-functioning kitchen.
- Develop and lead cookery-based activities for the children, promoting their culinary skills and creativity.
Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in basic food hygiene (essential).
- Experience of working in a kitchen, with a strong understanding of food preparation and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management and budgeting skills, with the ability to coordinate and serve meals efficiently.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team.
- A satisfactory DBS check.
