Learning Support Assistant

Horizon Teachers is currently seeking a dedicated individual to provide support to a child with diverse needs, including autism, learning delays, non-verbal communication, and hearing impairments.


Main Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized one-on-one support to the child, implementing tailored learning strategies and engaging activities.


Support communication through alternative methods such as PECS, Makaton, or AAC.


Establish an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere that addresses the child's sensory requirements.


Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure a comprehensive approach to the child's development.


Monitor progress, offer regular feedback, and contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
