SEN Support Assistant: Unlocking Potential

About the Role
The SEN Support Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support to pupils with a wide range of special educational needs. This role requires a passionate and dedicated individual who is committed to supporting pupils to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEN in a mixed primary and secondary setting
- Working with the class teacher to develop and implement learning plans
- Providing individualized support to pupils to help them access the curriculum
- Monitoring pupil progress and reporting to the class teacher
- Liaising with parents and carers to ensure consistent support
Requirements
- Qualifications and experience working with pupils with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
