Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is working with a specialist manufacturing client in the West Midlands to find an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance, with experience in preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment. They will also have knowledge of electrical plant installation and modification work, as well as statutory inspections and the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.

The successful candidate will be able to work in accordance with the company's safe systems of work and permit to work systems, and will have a good understanding of ATEX requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment
  • Perform electrical plant installation and modification work in an industrial environment
  • Conduct statutory inspections
  • Use Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
  • Work in accordance with the company's safe systems of work and permit to work systems
  • Have a good understanding of ATEX requirements

Requirements:

  • Education to RQF level 3 (e.g. City & Guilds level 3) in a practical Electrical discipline as a minimum
  • Experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of electrical plant installation and modification work
  • Statutory inspections experience
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
  • Good understanding of ATEX requirements
