Project Management Specialist

We are recruiting for an experienced Water Infrastructure Manager to join our client's team on a long-term contract. Saddlers Resourcing Solutions Ltd is a leading recruitment agency in the water industry.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of multiple ongoing projects within the Civil and Water sectors, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects from design phase to completion, including all handover documentation.
- Review progress, budget resources, and forward planning to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare comprehensive estimates for additional work outside target costs.
HSE Responsibilities:
- Set high standards of leadership in promoting HSE procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance with Company policies and legal requirements.
- Allocate HSE responsibilities and duties for site personnel, providing necessary training and support.
- Ensure subcontractors follow clients' procedures and processes.
- Produce and maintain site waste management plans and environmental risk assessments.
- Provide training and briefings to the team.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing projects within the Civil and Water sectors and meet the following criteria:
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control.
- Ability to use Primavera P6 software or equivalent.
- CSCS certification.
- SMSTS certification.
- Knowledge of the NEC contract, including Early Warning and Compensation Event mechanisms.
- Excellent communication, people, and team management skills.
- Ability to manage and deliver a successful project with minimal guidance.
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
