Consultant Gastroenterologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our dynamic team at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our gastroenterology team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients with a range of gastrointestinal conditions.
Main Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical services to Consultant colleagues and general practitioners in the hospital and community.
- Supervise junior staff and participate in postgraduate teaching of medical staff and undergraduates.
- Contribute to the development of clinical services and participate in strategic planning.
- Deputise for colleagues in their absence and undertake additional duties as required.
- Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within 6 months of attaining CCT in Specialty at time of interview.
- Have experience in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, and G(I)M.
- Be able to provide evidence of career planning through appraisal process and be up to date with professional development.
