Overview of the Role

The Pharmacy Delivery and Collection Service (PDC) is a critical component of our business, providing a caring, consistent, efficient, and professional service across the UK. Our teams of drivers are based at hubs and satellite locations, working together to meet the dynamic demands of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the PDC Manager to deliver PDC operations across their area, ensuring accountability for meeting targets.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to model and implement best practices, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer care to all PDC customers.
  • Ensure an efficient operation, supporting the delivery of key KPIs and targets on a day-to-day basis.
  • Deliver operation excellence around areas such as vehicle management, KPI reporting, and other processes.
  • Act as an ambassador for Boots and PDC at all times, promoting our values and standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to build constructive and productive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good planning skills and attention to detail, with a strong knowledge of systems and processes.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
