Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Probe UK. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults to identify root causes
  • Carry out planned maintenance and predictive maintenance activities to prevent equipment failures
  • Collaborate with shift leaders and other maintenance team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to improve equipment efficiency and reduce downtime

Requirements:

  • Recognized electrical qualifications and experience with PLC fault finding
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics, as well as experience with conveyors and single and three-phase power supplies
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
