- Traceability and Trend Data Analysis: Perform analysis of traceability and trend data to identify areas for improvement.
- KPI Reporting: Analyze technical KPI information and flag up adverse trends to the Technical Manager, ensuring that improvement actions are agreed and documented.
- Audit and Quality Assurance Records: Conduct audits and maintain quality assurance records, including production records, hygiene check sheets, and certificates of analysis.
- Documentation Management: Assist the QA/Technical Manager in keeping documentation up to date in line with legislation.
- Calibration Schedule Maintenance: Maintain an up-to-date calibration schedule for all equipment used for monitoring product safety, legality, and quality.
- HACCP and TACCP/VACCP Team Member: Participate in the site HACCP and TACCP/VACCP teams, guiding best practices from subject area research.
- Internal Audits: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, including completion of SAQs, specifications, and other technical information.
- Qualifications: Preferably holding a recognized qualification in a Food Science related subject.
- Training: Minimum Level 2 Food Safety training and HACCP.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, good level of PC literacy, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and minimum of 3 years' experience within a quality or technical role in the Food Manufacturing Industry.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to remain calm under pressure and work on own initiative as part of a team.
