Job Title: Logistics Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Project Engineer to support the concept design and material flows for a large-scale Logistics Project at Mondelēz International.

The ideal candidate will have broad knowledge of Logistics Engineering solutions, processes, systems, and equipment, as well as the latest market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of Warehousing and Logistics solutions.
  • Analyze data to identify process waste and propose solutions.
  • Manage the delivery of defined project elements in-line with Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize end-to-end processes and solutions.
  • Define solution requirements and ensure project inputs are correct.
  • Generate layouts and process flows to control the project 'Plan for every Part' inputs relevant to Manufacturing Logistics.
  • Identify innovations and best practices, evaluate and quantify their cost and benefits, and communicate and roll out to Manufacturing Plant.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of long-term engineering strategy to ensure continual development of function and the delivery of best practice solutions across site.
  • Contribute to the creation of RFP/RFQ documents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience and background in Manufacturing Logistics.
  • Broad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, data, processes, systems, and equipment, and the latest market trends.
  • Covering, but not limited to, In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storage media, kitting strategies, AGVs, and handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of RFP/RFQ creation ready for supplier selection.
  • Strong analytical skills, data maintenance, and statistical ability.
  • Ability to create Logistics warehouse and lineside layouts.
  • Educated to degree level in a related discipline.
