Job Title: Apprentice Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Gas Engineer to join our team at Lincolnshire Housing Partnership. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive gas service for installation, repair, and servicing of domestic premises in accordance with relevant safety regulations and departmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service domestic gas appliances, including boilers, fires, and water heaters, to a high standard.
  • Repair domestic gas appliances to a high standard, diagnosing faults and making necessary repairs.
  • Competently work in all areas of domestic plumbing, including diagnosing faults and making repairs.
  • Maintain and replenish vehicle imprest stock, collecting and delivering materials as needed.
  • Work with the minimum of supervision or as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
  • Appropriate experience in working in the social housing maintenance industry.
  • Experience of oil and commercial boilers.
  • Experience in servicing/maintaining air source heating units.
  • An understanding of commercial heating systems and Air Source Heat Pumps.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision or as part of a team.
