Job Title: Mail Carrier

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to work as a Mail Carrier in the Edinburgh area.

Your day will begin at the local delivery office, where you will sort and collect post and parcels to be delivered. You will be equipped with a hand-held device to capture customer signatures for deliveries.

You will also be required to carry a bag weighing up to 16kg, delivering letters and parcels, with parcels weighing up to 20kg. This may involve driving and on foot delivery, as well as pushing/pulling a trolley during deliveries.

Key Skills:
  • A valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points is required
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities are essential
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices is necessary
  • The ability to work outdoors in all weathers is required

This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated annual salary: £35,509.36 (£17.29 per hour)
