Wellbeing and Activities Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellbeing and Activities Manager to lead our team in creating exceptional experiences for our residents at West Hall. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative wellbeing initiatives that promote the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a Team of Activities Coordinators: Inspire and motivate a team of enthusiastic Activities Coordinators to design and deliver person-centered wellbeing activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Drive Innovation and Creativity: Develop and implement creative wellbeing programs that engage our residents and promote active participation among colleagues.
- Community Engagement: Establish and maintain positive community connections, identifying local opportunities that benefit our residents and the wider community.
- Holistic Support: Collaborate with our Lodge Managers and General Manager to provide comprehensive support for the emotional, psychological, and physical well-being of our residents, prioritizing their life history, interests, and passions.
Requirements
- Passionate Advocate: A dedicated wellbeing champion with a creative flair to design and deliver unique wellbeing initiatives that promote the well-being of our residents.
- Outstanding Leadership and People Management Skills: Promote a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, fostering a positive and respectful environment for colleagues and residents alike.
- Care Expertise: A complete understanding of the needs of older people, dementia care, and person-centered care, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care that meets the unique needs of each resident.
