Installation and Commissioning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning and Installation Manager to join our dynamic renewable energy company, PWMG Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership of the BESS engineering capability.
  • Ensure the timely completion of project installation and commissioning work, and successful handover to the customer.
  • Support the Responsible Designer and Engineering Design Manager in the delivery of projects.
  • Act as Principal Designer Advisor under the Regulations.
  • Develop, own, and deliver design, safety case, and commissioning strategies.
  • Specify and provide technical supervision of commissioning and/or decommissioning, acting as Commissioning Lead.
  • Manage handover to systems, ensuring that all drawings, instructions, and training have been supplied as required.
  • Comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety, Security, and Quality policies, procedures, work instructions, and risk assessments, and support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality on Site.

Qualifications and Expertise:

  • A degree in Engineering or a relevant subject (Essential).
  • Significant experience in the Renewable energy, Process, or Construction industries (Essential).
  • A good working knowledge of Technical, Health & Safety, and Environmental Legislation (Essential).
  • Knowledge/experience of contract management (Desirable).
  • A proactive individual with excellent communication skills, both up and down lines of accountability, and across project teams.
  • Travel to other locations will be necessary, depending on the demands of the program.
