Job Title: CAMHS Psychotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Psychotherapist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychotherapeutic assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, and their parents, as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents to identify their mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to children, adolescents, and their parents, using evidence-based approaches.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and their families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in child and adolescent psychotherapy.
Requirements:
  • Master's level preclinical training in child psychotherapy or a related field.
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical child psychotherapy or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
