PR Account Director Opportunity

HARP is seeking a seasoned PR Account Director to lead our client's key tourism account. As a key member of our team, you will oversee a team and work closely with internal teams and third-party agencies to deliver large-scale PR campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies for the tourism sector
  • Manage staff, teams, and external agencies to achieve campaign goals
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships within the travel trade and consumer press
  • Design, implement, and manage large PR campaigns with a focus on creativity and innovation
  • Write engaging copy and have a keen eye for detail

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a PR professional in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors
  • Strong knowledge of the PR industry with a range of media contacts within travel and content creation opportunities
  • Experience working in a matrix environment within an international business
  • Strong network of media contacts within the travel, hospitality, and lifestyle media
  • Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude and excellent organisational skills
  • Proven success in planning and delivering PR & Media events
  • Excellent relationships and reputation for delivering compelling content, copy, and press releases
  • Confident presentation skills to represent the business on panels and internally
