We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Porter to join our team at Apex Hotels in Edinburgh. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and back of house areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the kitchen, refuse areas, and relevant stores, corridors, and equipment are cleaned and maintained to the highest degree of cleanliness.
  • Use cleaning agents and equipment within the perimeters of COSHH Legislation.
  • Follow all food safety and health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in the preparation of food.

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail in order to provide consistent standards.
  • Ability to use initiative and be self-aware and able to evaluate your own work.
  • Customer service attitude.
  • Able to multi-task and provide excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional Food safety standards.
