As a Senior CAD Technician, you will play a key role in providing technical advice to colleagues and clients, producing high-quality plans for public consultation or inquiry, and undertaking on-site measurements and data collection.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise to support the development of preliminary highway schemes, priority junctions, signal-controlled junctions, and roundabouts to relevant design standards.
- Design car park layouts, multi-storey car parks, and access ramps in accordance with relevant guidance.
- Develop cycle scheme designs in line with LTN-1-20, CD145, and LCDS.
- Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed designs and drawings.
- Operate Vehicle Tracking software to monitor and analyze transportation systems.
- Stay up-to-date with new advances in relevant technology and apply this knowledge to improve design work.
