Pod Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing and sustainable logistics company to fill a Warehouse Shift Manager position. This dynamic role involves overseeing day-to-day operations and team management, with a focus on inventory control, logistics coordination, financial management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of warehouse supervisors and operatives, ensuring efficient operations and high-performing teams.
- Contribute to and lead continuous improvement initiatives, driving growth and improvement of personal and team KPIs.
- Monitor team performance, development, and wellbeing, while working towards growth and improvement of personal and team KPIs.
- Manage drivers, delivery routes, and logistics operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in a similar industry in a warehouse managerial or team-leading role.
- A proven track record in mentoring, coaching, and driving high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to adapt to and implement new operational processes in a rapidly growing environment.
- Proficiency and knowledge in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and MS Office.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and supply chain management.
- Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
