Automotive Technician

Our client, a well-established car dealership in Basildon, Essex, is seeking an experienced vehicle technician to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems
- Conduct inspections and perform preventative maintenance tasks
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functionality
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
