Touchlight, a pioneering biotech company, is seeking an experienced Molecular Biologist to lead the development of novel DNA formats. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the design and synthesis of cutting-edge genetic materials for advanced medicines.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for genetically engineering plasmid DNA starting material using creative strategies that meet clients' needs while optimizing downstream processes.

This position requires a strong background in molecular biology, including cloning DNA, PCR, bacterial transformation, and DNA purification techniques. Experience with gel electrophoresis apparatus and sequence analysis software is also essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for genetically engineering plasmid DNA
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize DNA manufacturing processes
  • Analyze data and optimize DNA purification techniques
Requirements
  • MSc level qualification in molecular biology or equivalent
  • Strong experience in DNA cloning, PCR, and bacterial transformation
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards such as ISO/cGMP
