Join Our Team as a Children's Support Worker

At Headstart Residential Care, we provide a nurturing environment for young autistic people with diverse needs. Our holistic approach focuses on creating the best possible outcomes for our residents. As a Children's Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team that ensures the well-being, happiness, and growth of our young people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the daily needs of our residents, including morning routines and evening activities.
  • Assist with paperwork and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Participate in creating a sense of joy and fun through various activities, such as gaming, sports, and movie nights.
  • Collaborate with the therapeutic team to provide a comprehensive support system.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary: £26,000 - £33,000
  • £500 welcome bonus after completing the 6-month probation
  • £500 loyalty bonus after completing 12-months service following a successful probation
  • Full 4-week induction and specialized training
  • 5 weeks of holiday

Requirements:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (funding available for those without)
  • Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months
