About the Role

AWS is seeking a highly skilled Deal Specialist to partner with our Strategic Customer Engagements (SCE) team. As a key member of the team, you will engage with AWS customers on strategic opportunities, driving growth and establishing AWS as their primary cloud technology provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with AWS Service teams to develop commercial business models and execute the deal sales cycle for strategic commercial opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the development of commercial strategy and deals, inspiring and influencing key internal stakeholders and customers to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Advise and construct commercial deal terms, understanding the competitive landscape and providing deal guidance to ensure successful customer relationships.
  • Foster alignment and effective AWS communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and encourage productive interactions.
  • Cultivate best practices through analysis and reporting in support of continuous improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Several years of demonstrated success working with customers on the structuring of substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals.
  • Several years of experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, and legal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals.
  • Bachelor degree in Business, Economics, Technology, or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
