About the Role
The London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Integrated Sexual Health service. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and support to patients with complex sexual health needs.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on sexual health and well-being
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members
Person Specification
- Proven experience in mentoring and leadership roles
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to deteriorating patient conditions
- Experience working with patients with frailty and complex needs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
