Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, and RDS.
  • Migrate legacy applications to the cloud and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual networks, subnets, and security groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud-based solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with company goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders on cloud-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Unix operating systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will be required to work a standard 9 AM to 5 PM UK time shift, with occasional weekend work. The candidate will also be required to work from the Barclays Glasgow office twice a week.
