Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for leading the technical design and implementation of client projects, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and leadership to project teams, ensuring that technical designs are aligned with business objectives.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and methodologies.
  • Architecture and Design
    • Design and implement technical architectures for client projects, ensuring that they meet business requirements and are scalable.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documents.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring that their technical needs are met.
    • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that they understand the technical implications of projects.
  • Coaching and Mentoring
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members, helping them to develop their technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Extensive experience in software architecture, including programming languages and methodologies.
    • Knowledge of architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Open Agile.
  • Business Acumen
    • Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate technical requirements into business solutions.
  • Communication Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £65,000 to £80,000, plus bonus and benefits. Our hybrid working model allows you to work from home and on client sites, with a flexible schedule that suits your needs.

Location

You will be based in one of our offices in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, or London, and will be expected to work on client sites once every 2 weeks.

Eligibility

You must be based in the UK already and have the right to work in the UK to apply for this role. We are unable to sponsor visas.
