Nursery Key Worker Role

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is seeking a qualified Nursery Key Worker to join their team at Saoghal Beag Nursery.

This is a fixed-term contract until 21 May 2025, working 37 hours per week all year round.

The salary for this role is £30,637 per annum, inclusive of a £2,742 Distant Islands Allowance per annum.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To develop and implement a curriculum through the medium of Gaelic that supports children's learning and development.
  • To plan engaging play sessions tailored to individual children's needs.
  • To provide high-quality childcare and support to young children and their families in an early years setting.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in childcare, working with young children and their families in an early years environment.
  • Able to communicate effectively in Gaelic.
What We Offer:
