Job Opportunity: Bank General Assistant - Cleaning

Sanctuary Group is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank General Assistant - Cleaning to support our Retirement Communities Service.

As a Bank General Assistant - Cleaning, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our residential facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to undertake general cleaning duties, including maintaining stock levels, restocking as required, and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of all communal areas, offices, and the kitchen
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
• Identify and report potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment
• Maintain stock levels, restock as required and ensure equipment is used in line with guidance notes
• Help prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards, and ensure the needs of our customers are met
• Ensure customers' privacy and dignity are maintained and respected

Requirements:

• Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable
• Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment
• Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willing to work towards
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
