About the Role

The GAP Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for maximising Lifting hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and winning new business.

The Role

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be working closely with our Technical Sales Manager to deliver sales presentations to our major account customers at a senior management level. You will also be attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience working in a sales role within the Lifting or Hire industry. A proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise Lifting hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers
  • Deliver sales presentations to our major account customers at a senior management level
  • Attend depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering
  • Work closely with our Technical Sales Manager to achieve sales targets

Requirements

  • Significant experience working in a sales role within the Lifting or Hire industry
  • Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload
  • Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
